Chapter 2 Using SS7Cfg to Configure Your Gateway

Working in the Main Window

The Edit IP Address dialog box displays.

Step 2 Enter the IP address. Note that the gateway’s IP address can be configured as

either a dotted IP address or a network computer name. For most configurations

(and for this example), the IP address will be entered as a computer name

providing the name is in the host’s file. If you prefer a dotted IP address, click the

Dotted IP Format check box.

Step 3 Click OK to return to the main window.
